We’ve all been there, ‘how can it only be Wednesday!’ we hear you cry. Well don’t worry, Saucy’s got something to pep up your midweek meals with a taste sensation from the East.
Fresh crunchy salad paired with delicate Tilapia and a punchy Korean BBQ sauce is enough to spice up any midweek slump!
What you will need (serves 2, but easily doubled, tripled, or quadrupled based on how many you’re entertaining!):
○ 2 Tilapia fillets with Korean BBQ Sauce
○ 2 cups Romaine lettuce
○ ½ cup grated carrot
○ ½ cup finely chopped scallions
○ 3 tbsp soy sauce
○ 3 tsp vinegar
○ 1 tsp honey
○ 5 teaspoons water
○ Pinch of chili flakes
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F, and put your tilapia fillets in the oven for 19 minutes.
STEP 2: Whilst your fish is cooking make the Korean salad by whisking the soy sauce, vinegar, honey, water, and chili flakes and pouring over the lettuce, carrot, and scallions.
STEP 3: Once the fish is cooked place over your freshly dressed salad and drizzle with the Korean BBQ sauce. Sprinkle with a few toasted sesame seeds if you’re feeling extra fancy!
